Current Projects

On October 15,2025 a Pre-Construction Meeting was help at Big Flat Community Center as the next step in preparation for the actual work of the renovation & Updateing of the Big Flat Water System.  Attending: Jeremy rawn, Project Engineed/Manager, Ronnie Horton, Inspector, Grant Novak, & Ricky Atkins, L.E. Davis Construction Reps.  Also attending were Rich Hiter, Big Flat Water Operator, Glenda Wiseman, Mayor, Mike Treat, Recorder/Treasurer & several Big Flat citizens.  Javier Ramirez, ANRC Project Engineer attended by phone.

Purpose of Meeting: to develop a mutual understanding of all contract requirements of the Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) program & define roles & responsibilites of those involved in project.  ANRC - To monitor administration of this loan to ensure the borrower is complying with all agreements of loan & is carrying out its technical, fiscal & administrative responsibilities under the Safe Drinking Water Act & all other applicable Federal & State Laws & Regulations. Borrower - To comply with all BABA 7 IIJA requirements, RLF requirements, uphold all terms or condiions of the Bond Purchase Agreement, & To efficiently & effectively manage loan & grant funds.  This responsibility cannot be delegated or transferred by the Borrower.  Failure to abide by the terms of the Bond Purchase Agreement may result in termination of loan assistance.

Date to put "shoverls in the ground" hopes to be December 15.  Materials are not manufacture until ordered reason for late date.  Pipe has been ordered.

Once the project is underway, updates will be published after the monthly meeting of those involved in project with short updates given between of interesting or important information.
